Sleeping Well

Your child needs to sleep soundly throughout the night at this stage.  Use this section on Sleeping Well to learn how you can develop a sleeping schedule for your toddler and instill in him sound sleeping habits. Sleep is crucial for your child as it helps in his physical and mental development, but it is also important for restoring his energy and boosting his immunity.  However, toddlers become super active, alert and willful by this stage, so they foil the attempts of their parents to put them to bed on time. Delayed and disrupted sleep cycles have a short as well as long-term impact on children’s physical health, growth, mental alertness and cognition, and immunity. However, through proactive and common sense parenting, you can instill good sleeping habits in your child and help him sleep through the night. A child who sleeps well at night is able to wake up physically refreshed and awake in the morning.

Parenting Quote

At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.
