Discipline is a group of actions (whether direct or indirect) aimed at regulating human behavior in order to achieve a set of behavioral goals. Discipline most often targets children, who readily grasp and internalize information more than adults. In fact, parents and caregivers should treat discipline as a moral obligation because a lack of discipline in children can result in behavioral issues, such as disrespect, an inability to get along with their peers, rudeness, and disobedience. Discipline helps children mature faster, makes them emotionally stable, and develops a sense of responsibility, which all directly impact their adult lives.
