A drink, or beverage, is any liquid fit for human consumption, such as water, tea, coffee, beer, juice, wine, liquor, and soft drinks. Drinks primarily quench thirst, but they can be consumed for many reasons, including to refresh the body, to relax, for fun, for medicinal purposes, or to help reduce indigestion. An infant only drinks its mother’s breast milk because the milk contains all the necessary nutrients needed to regulate the body and help the baby grow. Drinks benefit the human body in many ways, but most importantly, drinks keep the body hydrated and the body cells active. Most drinks contain nutrients that keep the vital organs stable. Proper intake of healthy drinks will, therefore, ensure proper growth in children, improve digestion, and maintain the vitality of the body organs.
