Formula Food
Formula food is food that has been manufactured, designed, and marketed specifically for feeding babies younger than a year old. Usually in powder form, formula food is mixed with water or any liquid and fed to the baby either via a bottle or cup. Formula food is typically manufactured to match or almost match the components of breast milk in order to enhance the growth and development of infants. It contains lactose, carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, healthy fats, and healthy oils, providing essential nutrients for babies. Futhermore, formula food is economical, easy to prepare, and readily available. On the other hand, a child being fed on formula food is prone to infections arising either from poor preparation or from inadequate cleaning of the feeding equipment. Some children could also have allergies to one or more of the components of formula food.
