Tobacco

Tobacco can be smoked using pipes, cigars, and cigarettes. Tobacco use produces smoke that can be inhaled by people around the smoker. Therefore, the effects of smoking tobacco not only impact the person who is smoking but also the people around them. Tobacco contains substances that are life-threatening, and children have tender and delicate respiratory organs that are vulnerable to the deadly effects of tobacco. Upon contact with tobacco smoke, the liver and lungs retain some of the smoke, which liquefies on their surface, and the acidic nicotine starts to slowly eat into the liver and lungs. The result is a compromised respiratory system in the child and an increased risk of deadly conditions like lung and liver cancer. Keep children away from tobacco smokers as much as possible to help them maintain healthy body organs.
